The role of art, especially
sculpture, as means of interior and exterior decoration cannot be overlooked in
our society. This fact is due to the awareness and the aesthetic value that art
has built in the mind of people over the years. Sculptural piece can be
incorporated into public buildings, offices, places of worship, schools,
shopping complex, private buildings and so on, in order to beautify, advertise
and embellish such buildings.
Moreover, sculptural pieces
incorporated into buildings tends to last longer, as compared to others that
were done with any other medium. In an attempt to make the outdoor appearance
more beautiful, alluring and welcoming to visitors, and all and sundry,
therefore there is a need for a 3-dimensional sculptural write up at such
institution’s entrance.
